Anyone know how I can add an avatar upload field to a safecracker ‘edit profile’ form?

As the avatar field is not a safecracker file type I can’t use the usual {field:avatar} method…

Are you talking about the Avatar field of the member profile? SafeCracker doesn’t deal with member profiles, just channel entries.

Ah, I thought that might be the case. Do you know of a way i can edit a member avatar from within a safecracker form?

I suppose you could do it with your own custom extension, but otherwise, no.
