in your example you show how dynamically set the “url_title” using onkeyup=“liveUrlTitle()”
it doesn’t work when i type in cyrillic (russian) language. Is there any solution for it?

In the CP, do url titles behave the way you expect?

yes, because i use ‘Foreign Character Extension’ (http://michaelbystrom.com/download/ee/)
it allows me to have russian characters’ set

liveUrlTitle is built-in to EE, so there’s not much I can do to change that. But here’s something to try: remove the url_title field. This will allow the system to auto-generate the url_title from the title field, and hopefully will trigger that extension.
