After I edit an entry in the SAEF, it disappears from the list of entries to edit on the front-end of the site. In the CP, there is a new tab called User_authors with some php errors, see attached. I am logged in as a superadmin
Yes the Solspace User module is installed.
The status of the entry is still open.
The date of the entry is updated to the current time, not in the future. However, when I set it back a day, it shows up.
By the way, timing and EE are a bit annoying. It judges time by Greenwich mean time…. sometimes that throws off the time you’d expect something to show up. I don’t even try to figure it out anymore, there’s a bunch of stuff like server time, localized time, and the time settings you’ve got going in EE.
I’m pretty sure those are user module errors, they are prepended with Solspace_user. I installed User on my local install and I can’t seem to duplicate the errors you’re getting. Is there a chance I can login to the site you’re working on? Shoot me an email if so.
Maybe try adding show_future_entries=“yes” to you channel tag, and see if that makes the entries show up?
Adding that parameter show_future_entries=â??yesâ? worked (I had it on the edit page and not the list page, duh.)
Solspace seems to be down at the moment, I will look further into those errors when it’s back up. It’s not saving information I submitted via the SAEF, but maybe that is due to those errors? If I can’t get them fixed I will send you an email with access. Thansk.
Talked to Greg @ solspace, he tells me that this phantom User_authors tab is a bug on their end that’ll be fixed in the next User module release, probably sometime next week.
I’m still not sure if this is the reason it’s not saving the data submitted via SAEF, so I guess we’ll have to wait and see once the newest User module comes out.
Just so you know I haven’t died or anything, I updated the User module to 3.2.2 and still getting those errors. And still not saving the data submitted via the saef. So I guess we are waiting on a fix from Solspace still.
