Im currently using WorldPay to test payments.

But when the customer gets passed to the WorldPay site, the order is created and given a message of “Transaction in process offsite”

But when the order is complete this message still stays there.

So obviously this can get confusing for my client because they will be unsure if the customer made payment or cancelled midway.

Also it still seems to be setting the status of the order to the complete one, even when I close the payment window.

Something strange is going on…

Is this something I need to tweak in WorldPay or in CT?

Currently running EE 2.4.0 Build 20120123 and CT 2.1.2

CT 2.1.2

Upgrade to vs 2.1.4. http://cartthrob.com/docs/pages/upgrading_instructions/index.html

Not sure why it’s not in the change log, but we made lots of adjustments to Worldpay after 2.1.2. I see the changes here in my local build.. and I know I worked on this specific issue several times after 2.1.2

We’re moving away from the forums, though not entirely and not immediately. Lack of support lately is coincidental to that. Unfortunately we’ve had a bad month with it, but we do not forsee that we will have any continued problems with support through our portal going forward, or on forums while we’re still transitioning. We will send out a newsletter and make additional notifications through twitter and other outlets over the coming weeks.

Moving forward; things returning to normal.

I tried upgrading CT to latest version. Pressed “Run Module Updates” and I get this error…

“Unable to load the requested class: seed_model”

I realised it was the Seed module causing that error.

But I’ve upgraded, tested it again and still doing exactly the same thing.

It still says “Transaction in process offsite” even when payments are complete and the status isn’t set to “Processing Not Complete” it just says “Complete”

Can I send you my login details to take a look?

But when the order is complete this message still stays there.

I just realized. You’re talking about the error message staying in the order entries channel right? It’s not about what the customer sees, it’s that the error is not removed. Correct?

If so, you’re right, that’s not a “feature” that we’ve implemented. I don’t have anything to update that message to blank. Please confirm and I’ll consider next steps.

That’s fine if it doesn’t remove the message. But it’s not setting the correct Status on the entry.

I have 2 statuses…

Processing (Which means Complete)
Still Processing (Which means it hasn’t completed)

But when I leave the WorldPay page without paying, the Orders status is still Processing (Complete) when it shouldn’t.

Just to confirm. In the orders channel setup for ct…. you have the following statuses mapped:

Payment authorized/complete: set to “Processing” status
Payment being processed: set to “Still Processing” status

1. Is that correct?

2. what do you have set for:

Payment failed
Payment declined
Payment canceled

I’ve attached a screenshot.

But I just realised what I may of done wrong…

I had “Transaction in process offsite” set to “Processing” also. So both “Transaction in process offsite” and “Complete” were saying “Processing”.

Going to test this now and fingers crossed thats why the status wasn’t changing.

Ok, now it sets the status to “transaction in process offsite” if I cancel anb order midway.

But if I complete an order, it never changes the status to “complete”. It always stays on “transaction in process offsite” which obviously isn’t good.

Is this how it should work?

Phew! Haha.

Ok sound. I’ll wait for the email. I’ve got our client on my back because was meant to be launching the site on Monday. But she sent me Hosting details ON Monday, then WorldPay details late Monday… And because her bit is done, she expects my bit to be done in 2 minutes Haha.
