Hi—

Just finished a site for a client, using CT and authorize.net as the payment gateway. I have another project about to start, and I’m wondering what (or how or if) the experience for the end user is different if we were to use PayPal Express as the gateway? Does it change the flow of the checkout process at all (like force the user to go to PayPal’s site), or does everything remain in EE/CT as with the authorize.net checkout process?

Authorize.net is a direct payment gateway, whereas Paypal Express is an offsite gateway.

When the user submits the checkout form they will be redirected to the PayPal site to complete their transaction.
