I’ve read through the forums and found several comments about this, but haven’t found a clear cut answer. But from what I can tell, CT looks at MSM compatibility as one store per site with each store containing unique products that cannot be shared across sites.
If true, I understand the assumption by CT that most sites will have unique products, but there will be cases when a store owner will want to manage one products channel and sell across multiple sites. Branding, multiple country stores to name a couple examples, but in my unique case, I’ll have 2 (or more) product managers from 2 different departments managing the channels. Each of their departments are required to have their own site because of a different customer base, but they share many products.
Is there any way to get CT to handle the job using an MSM setup?
If not, is this something that could be included on the roadmap and/or commissioned to expedite it’s inclusion?
