First of all, congratulation with all the work you have put in to the new CT2!

I’m am totally new to CT, and for the moment all I would use CT is to take donation.

I got the latest EE 2.1.3 installed and the latest MSM. I’ve configured the subdomain http://secure.thegenevapush.com (ssl will come later) to work as a separate site in MSM and I can display the example template http://secure.thegenevapush.com/index.php/cart_examples/donations

The problem I’m facing is when I filling in the Donation Amount and submitting, it takes me back to the main site, not the subdomain ‘secure’.

How can that be?

BTW: I’ve change the settings under General Configuration for this site (secure) to point to http://secure.thegenevapush.com/index.php

Thanks

This may be a bug. I’ll have to research.

We’re moving away from the forums, though not entirely and not immediately. Lack of support lately is coincidental to that. Unfortunately we’ve had a bad month with it, but we do not forsee that we will have any continued problems with support through our portal going forward, or on forums while we’re still transitioning. We will send out a newsletter and make additional notifications through twitter and other outlets over the coming weeks.

Moving forward; things returning to normal.

I’ve confirmed on our own systems that the site_url is basically ignored, and whatever is in the config file for base_url is what’s used instead. That’s a bug as far as I’m concerned. Codeigniter considers the site_url to be the base_url,and EE expects it to be site_url. I don’t know why they both have different configurations for what should (in my opinion) be the same thing. But anyway, we should be able to get it sorted in a few days.

Might have a solution here. Running it by Rob. Don’t want to make problems worse.

This has been fixed in recent releases.
