How is the individual inventory levels of say a t-shirt that comes in S M and L handled?

If you choose your product size field as your inventory field in the CartThrob product settings, a 4th column called inventory will automatically be added to your price modifier field. See the screenshot.

Thanks. FYI there is no saved confirmation after submit is clicked on the settings page.
