Range search for Product Report

I’d like to request a change to the Product Report. It needs to have some way to enter To/From dates to get a product report for a particular range.

Either that or if there is a way to get the data in the meantime?

Customer friendly payment gateway tag

For use in invoices it would be great to output the payment method used by a customer. Currently {order_payment_gateway} will print something like ‘ct_offline_payments’ which isn’t very user friendly. I know it is possible to do something via some conditionals in the templates, but it would be nice to have a setting in the payments control panel where I could give it a title.

Discount shown on Customer Receipt

Currently our customers receive an emailed receipt with their items purchased and totals.

However, the discounts do not show up on the emailed receipt so the math does not look like it adds up. Is there a way to include the discounts and total that up on the receipt as well?

Cross-site packages

First of all, thank you for creating such a wonderful feature - it will probably save me hours of work!

But there’s a problem I have and hopefully you can help.

My customer is running CartThrob on MSM-powered network of sites, each selling different type of electonic products.
Among them I have a site where user can buy a “set” or “pack” of products from different sites (i.e. they are available indivudually on one site, and as a set on another)

Packages fieldtype looks like a great tool to select and bing them together - but it looks like it does not work cross-site(?)
Is there a way to make Package fieldtype fetch data from all MSM sites that run CartThrob?

I’m completely fine with having to edit your code (and contributing back to you) but want to do it in a way that would be safe to CartThrob (having possible future updates in mind). Could you point me in right direction? Or maybe it’s not hard for you and you can add cross-site feature?

Different notifications for different channels.

We have three channels:

Donate
Register
Membership

Upon a successful transaction, we would like to send out notification emails with different subjects and “From” addresses (and content).

“Thank you for your donation”, “Your registration has been received”, “Thank you for renewing your membership”.... that sort of thing.

Is there some way for me to tell the “checkout” tag what email template to aim for?

Maybe we’re going about this differently than the cart is expecting.

Spend $xx get a specific free product

Would like to have a coupon code that allows the customer to get a specific product (chosen by the site admin) for free if they spend X dollars.

“required_options” parameter for add_to_cart_form

Would be great if we could specify that certain item options are required in the Add To Cart form. Currently I’m using jQuery validate plus some checks in the add_to_cart_start hook for non-JS users, but native would be easier.

“reply-to” field for notifications

These days I’m finding that many email notifications generated by the web server get flagged as spam by Gmail, because it’s a Google-hosted address, but was not sent by Google’s servers. My fix with other products like Freeform has been to make the notifications come from another email address on my domain (e.g., server@ or donotreply@) and then add the customer’s/sender’s email address as a “reply-to”.

Works a treat in Freeform, would love to see it in CartThrob.

Age Check on checkout

It would be nice to be able to allow a customer to checkout only if they are older than 18.
You should enter your date of birth in the checkout form, so guests can checkout too.

If this is already possible, please show me the way

Adding comma to price

Is there a way to add a comma to the price of a product that has a cost in the thousands? I’m not sure if I can just add the comma to the price without throwing things off. For example, I want items that cost “$1000” to appear as “$1,000”
