Additional Settings

CartThrob's backend has many settings, and they're all fairly well documented within the system itself. A few key settings are pointed out below. Review the notes in CartThrob's backend for additional details.

• Duplicate Items Options Controls whether one item can appear in the cart more than once. You will need to turn this on to allow customers to configure one product in different ways (e.g. to buy one T-shirt product in both a small and a medium size).
• Import/Export Settings This settings page can import and export your CartThrob settings for backup or use in other installations. This does not control the import of product or order data.
• Customer Login Options Controls what happens when a non-member tries to checkout.
• Shipping & Taxes: Default Customer Location To compute taxes, a location is required. Use these settings to set a default location for taxes.
